There is no way to get around this one – you need to learn the basics of digital marketing before starting anything else. This includes learning about concepts such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social media marketing, Display Ads, Email marketing, and more.
You don’t need to learn them in-depth, initially just the basics on how to do it and it would help in a good start. We can learn all the things slowly and gradually.
Luckily, there are plenty of free online courses and tutorials available to help you get started. You can also find plenty of articles and blog posts that will teach you the basics. Once you have a good foundation, you can start applying what you learned to your own marketing efforts.

2. Choose a niche
One of the most important things you need to do when starting digital marketing is to choose a niche. This is simply a specific topic or industry that you want to focus your marketing efforts on.
If you are not targeting a specific group of people, you are wasting your time. You need to find a group of people who are interested in what you have to offer and target them specifically. When you do this, you are more likely to succeed because you are focusing on a specific group of people.
When I started my niche was internet marketing. In the internet marketing niche, I promoted software and courses, as well as helped people with my consulting service on how to start their own journey as an internet marketer.
So how do you choose a good niche?
It can be a bit tricky, but there are a few things you can do to make it easier. First, think about what you’re interested in or passionate about. This will help you create content and marketing campaigns that are more interesting to you and your audience.
You can also use online tools like Google Trends or BuzzSumo to see which niches are popular right now and where potential customers are interested. This can give you some ideas about what to focus on.
If you are doing affiliate marketing, don’t miss to research the availability of products online to promote.
Always choose a niche that you are somewhat familiar with or learning about. Never pick a niche in which you are inexperienced. You could wind up empty-handed if you do so.

3. Decide which channel you want to start digital marketing with
Once you have chosen a niche, you need to decide on the specific marketing channels you want to focus on. There are a lot of digital marketing channels including Search Engine Optimization(SEO). Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, and more.
The most preferred channels people start with are search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, affiliate marketing, and content marketing.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
The advantage of SEO is that it can be a very effective way to reach potential customers who are looking for your product or service. In fact, studies have shown that organic search traffic is the number one source of website traffic for most businesses and accounts for around 70% of all website traffic.
The disadvantage of SEO is that it can take time to rank your website in the search engines and it is very complex. You need to create high-quality content and optimize your website for the search engines. It can also be expensive to hire an SEO consultant.
Social Media Marketing
The advantage of social media marketing is that it is a very effective way to reach a large number of people. In fact, social media platforms have billions of users worldwide. This makes it a great way to build brand awareness and reach new customers.
The disadvantage of social media marketing is that it can be time-consuming. You need to create engaging content and build relationships with followers. It can also be expensive to run social media ads.
The advantage of affiliate marketing is that it is a very effective way to make money. In fact, studies have shown that affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to make money online for beginners.
The disadvantage of affiliate marketing is that it can be difficult to find good affiliate programs. You need to find a program that offers high commissions and has a good reputation. It can also be expensive to run paid ads.

The most important thing is that your website is easy to navigate and looks professional. You should choose a website design that is professional and reflects the branding of your business.
The content of your website is also very important. You need to make sure that the content is high-quality, relevant to your audience, and updated regularly.
If you have a blog, make sure to post new articles regularly. You should also have a strong social media presence, as this can help drive traffic to your website.
Call To Action:
A Call to Action is a statement that encourages visitors to take some sort of action. This might be as simple as signing up for your email list, booking an appointment, downloading a free book, or making a purchase. It’s critical to make it as simple as possible for people who visit your website to do something.
Make sure you include a clear call to action on your website and make it easy for people to contact you. You also want to make sure your website is optimized for search engines so that it can be found by potential customers.
5. Create social media presence
